Provocative thoughts
...without God
Without God I will be okay
But the world will think less of me
With God I will be nothing and the world will think more of me
I trouble over things and worry over matter
I fuss when my life ceaselessly twitch if just for a little while
I ponder what God has got to do with it
Is it what we create hoping that God will alleviate?
Or what has been written where we know no beginning
I see the old without things of the past
Things of the present without a thought of the future
So I ask myself where is the before that accepts the now only to fear the later
Without ado what will be will be
It must be if it has to be
With this eventual grace it is dawning on me
Slowly but surely there is a making for me to be
Nothing is little though much as I seek
Now I know to pray praises for my own being
For the things unknown will always be in the world I seek
Alas I see that with or without God I am still the same
And if for God the world will think less of me
If not for God the world will think more of me
Away with the world who cherish my vain
When there is God who takes me as I am.

Hmmmm you have put as the heading that this will provoke thoughts but I am not sure it will
I am really sorry but i didn't get it - maybe I am just tired!

I don't get it either.
Koka can you tell us what it is about ? You have peeked my interest now, so do tell.
Isn't Koka exploring the idea of religion and whether he is better with it in his life or not. The conclusion being that he feels with or without it he would be the same person.
