Hi Folks
Every time I turn my laptop on, after booting up, it displays a blank black screen with a white arrow in the middle. Nothing else happens after that.
I have tried restarting and taking out the battery etc, but the problem is still there.
Could someone be kind enough to advice what I need to do?
Thanks in advance for your responses.
Hi Geek
Trying switching it on with the wifi switched off - may work better
You could also try typing msconfig in the run box and select the programs you want to start up when the laptop does
Alternatively try a system restore
It sounds possibly that it is expecting another screen - have you used it with an external monitor plugged in?
Good Morning Folks
I've now fixed the problem.
I started it in safe mode and then restarted the laptop again. The problem seemed to have fixed by itself.
Thanks very much for all you help.
