I was actually searching for a report on self representing in the family court which was aired this morning on Radio 4 I couldn\'t find it but found this.....
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-29557581
In a nutshell the report this morning said most lip\'s struggle when the other party is represented but it is doable if you prepare like a mad man learn the law and pretend you are a solicitor, a few people who had been threw it also stated that there is no justice in the family court it is just a set procedure you have to go through you will get to be part of your childs life but you will have to jump through all the hoops and tick all the boxes.
It also came across how all the judges are well upset with the government over them cutting back on legal aid the system is in bits with everyone representing as the courts find themselves having to direct and offer advice to Lip\'s and the Judges have their heads up their asses as they used to rely on the solicitors of both parties to direct them in family law which just shows they have not a clue about family matters I noticed that myself the judges are lost without the clerk of court or legal adviser it\'s insane
