Hi folks
I have a 2002 Ford Fiesta and there is a black strip running on both sides of the body of the car - driver's side and passenger's side.
A bit of it has become detached from the body work of the car. What is the best way of fixing it back on?
Thank You.
Like most ham fisted blokes I would be slapping a little super glue on it!!!
Unlike most sensible blokes you should ask at your local halfords or garage
Thanks Super Mario
It's possible that there's a plastic clip holding it in place (well not now) - if that's the case, then it may be simply a matter of buying a new clip and removing the old one and pushing the new clip into place and clipping the strip over it. A google search will probably sort it.
Hi There,
ACTD is right there are 2 ways of fitting these trims the most common is as said clips, you can buy them for pence from a dealer, the other is a semi permanent bonding glue, if its the glue option the a windscreen fitter like autoglass use strong bonding glue that would hold it back in place, If you went to a depot they may help.
