Hi everybody πŸ™‚ me and my partner are expecting our baby in 26 weeks. We are buying things as we go and have saw an amazing pushchair but its so expensive!! We have lots of bills, are both in full-time employment and are saving up to move house and I run a car too, also a few other bills, problem is the pushcair we have agreed on is a Β£799 grey gravel quinny moodd travel system and its just to expensive to pay in one go, does anybody know or can anybody recommend any sites where i can buy now and spread the cost paying a bit off weekly until its fully paid then collect after? ANY help would be muchly appreciated πŸ™‚ also, we Are getting this make and model puschair and HAS to be brand new, help please πŸ™‚

Hi there,

Probably your best option would be to look at store credit, agreement or a store card for somewhere like mothercare

If you live in a smaller town you may find smaller private shops would offer a payment scheme.

Another option is to find a zero percent credit card - moneysavingsexpert.com is probably the best source for these. I would ask whther you need such an expensive item - what does it give you that a cheaper model doesn't? You are going to have a lot of expense when the baby is born so you need to consider having a buffer for essential items,

Thankfully we found a small local shop and put a Β£200 deposit down and got the matching footmuff and 4 wheel unit all for 720 πŸ™‚ and to answer your question about why it's so good, its probably best you type in "quinny moodd" in youtube and see for yourself πŸ™‚ 200 deposit and pay whatever we want, when we want!! My girlfriend has 26 weeks of pregnancy left, so were going to pay Β£50 each every week, meaning we have our pushchair in 5 weeks time πŸ™‚

That's great!

I did have a look around ...Very are a good one for 0% interest and spreading the cost, but they only had the pink and teal available. Small, independent local shops are good, as GTTS mentioned, they will usually price match and reserve, allowing time to pay off.

Have you checked out our expecting section on the main site...

All the best.
