Hi Folks

Has anybody used Drop Box?

If so, could you please explain how I can copy a video recorded on a DVD onto the Drop Box website / folder?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

How big is the file? If you don't pay for dropbox, then I think your limit starts at 2GB.

When you installed dropbox on your PC, it should have created a folder on your desktop - looks like a blue packing box that's been opened. If you drag your video file onto this folder, it will copy it to dropbox. Once it's there, if you go into dropbox, you will see the file, and if you right click, you can share the file, and it will put a link on you clipboard, so you can then email this link to someone and they can get at the file (I think they have to install dropbox if I remember correctly)......

I use it a lot for transferring files around, but I also have folders for all my documents - insurance, driving license, codes for my car keys, court orders etc - that way I have instant access to them on my phone, or anywhere where I can get to a PC.

Good Morning actd

I have now got the DVD stored on drop box. However, the only problem I have is when I play it from drop box, the whole screen of my PC does not fill up - there are vertical blank lines on either side of the DVD when playing.

Is there a way that I can increase the screen size to 'full screen'?

I presume you have confidence in the site, in that you think it is secure enough to hold the documents that you have said without anybody else getting hold of them?

Thanks

By the way, the file size is 1.74 GB, so I presume to hold any more DVDs, I would need to pay a monthly charge?
