Ok, got one for you. Equality looks to be added to the Royal Succession rules. As gooner would say, check out the story here. The ban on the monarch being married to a Roman Catholic was also lifted.
Is this a good thing ? surely its about time this happened ? or are there any traditionalists out there who think things should have stayed the same.
Personally, I think equality in the Royal Family is all wrong - I think it should be girls only who succeed, QE2 & Q Victoria have done, and are doing, a pretty good job. And wouldn't Princess Anne be more popular than Charles?
Nothing like a little controversy eh Actd?
I disagree with you and think that it should be the first born regardless of [censored]. We need to bring the Royal Family to the modern age and this is a small step to ensuring that is loses some of the antiquated traditions
Princess Anne has been a wonderful servant to the country and yes some would say she would make better monarch than Charles but remember she has grown up knowing that she would never be Queen and therefore has none of the pressures that Charles has.
Anyway if she were in line to the throne do you think her children would have been allowed to marry who they did?
Haha SM,
There'd certainly be interesting times if Mike Tindall was husband to the future queen 😆
Would be some fantastic raves at the palace!
