Would love to hear what other dads think about this. Is this the state as a diet dictator or a caring council protecting children's health ?

To be fair to the social workers they do say that weight was not the only reason..... I suspect there is a lot more to this than the press have got hold of..... After Baby P i do wonder if Social Services are being a bit more cautious??

The most worrying bit was that Katie Price is their solicitor..... Jordon for a solicitor! lol 😆

I think its good to see child protection in action. Its generally recognised that beign very over weight is unhealthy in the long term. So I understand why social services have acted.
More to the point, I am really pleased to see the family is taking the care plan seriously and doing the best for their children.
I would be really pleased to see/hear a follow up article where social services are out of the picture and the family have got to a position where they are taking good care of eachother.
My hunch is that social services were not the only ones with serious concerns. I imagine that, over time, the family doctor, health visitor and/or a dietitian would have been expressing concern about the children's weigt/health.
I hope that all family members get the support that helps them keep doing what they need to stay out of care.
