Calling All Dads,

Hello all, im new to this website after just finding it. I am a stay at home dad caring for my 18month daughter while my wife goes to work during the day, and i would like to meet other dads around Reading, who may like to meet up for a coffee and chat and maybe possibly starting a dads group.

Message me back if any one is interested.

Simon.

Hi Simon

Welcome to Dadtalk!!

Have a look around the website - there is lots of great stuff on here - and please feel free to join in on any threads.

I know there are some "Stay at Home Dads" on the site so you could chat with them online!!

In terms of meeting Dads not sure how much joy you will get from this site however it may be worth advertising in your local health centre or nursery.

Good Luck with it

Mario

Hi Simon (and Libby),
Welcome !! Its great to meet another stay at home Dad.
Unfortunately Reading would be a good 50 mins away for me (as long as there was no traffic and I was using the speed limit as a speed target).
So not very practical for me... or my little 16 month old boy who keeps me relatively busy during the day.

However, I wonder whether you would share a cuppa with me (and hopefully others) from time to time?
I've just created this thread Tea break & is anyone online? so all of us have somewhere comfortable to have a good chat.

Or, for example, you might consider posting some fun 'status update' in My little one has just....

Good to meet you anyway. Chat soon I hope.

Out of interest, is anyone taking part in Movember this year?

Yeah DadTalk is - We did it last year and are taking part again this year.

Harvey's dad is trying to convince the bloggers, moderators, technical gnomes and everyone else at DadTalk towers to get in involved. I'll post a link to our group on the Movember site.
