So do dad's really dance in an embarrassing way ?
From my research there appear to be 5 classic dad moves
- The Hover Mower - Imagine you're swinging a lawn mower back and forth. Don't forget the foot action - choose between kicking the cable or the cat out of the way.
- Squirty Dancing - Arm and leg movements reach out for imaginary water leaks.
- The Four Left Feet - this speaks for itself (and also involves your mum)
- The Huggy Bear - think stuffed toy; think teddy bear. Make sure there's not too much horizontal movement in the body. With a bit of practice, you too could achieve this dance
and the infamous
- The Barman - move your arms up and down as if you're pulling pints - and keep looking around at the customers (or to make sure no one is seeing you dance)
Do you remember your Dad dancing with all the grace of an over-excited baboon?

Brilliant descriptions! 😀
Very funny.. 😀 D D
Im probally going to make my lad duck his head in shame at some point im sure. 😀
Surely it is a legal requirement to embarrass your children at wedding discos etc.
It is certainly a skill that is passed from generation to generation and long may it continue!!
