So I find myself not being able to sleep tonight and decide to pop over to dadtalk for a chat and am gob smacked to see many visitors browsing the forums (80 odd) but not actually signed on and posting.

Come on browsing dads - sign up, log in and post......maybe then sad old gits like me would have someone to talk to when we can't sleep....

Sleepless rant over now.

I'm not sure how accurate the count is, I suspect that it may count the same person multiple times (unless there really were 6 people browsing the forum at 6:30am). I do check the forum periodically from my phone, which doesn't log me on automatically, so unless I want to post, I'll close it down again and that will count me as a guest.

I suspect that a lot of search engines may trawl through (spiders?) and up the count.

Then again, I could be completely wrong and we need to get those people to register πŸ˜€

The forum count is an agregate of a 20 minute period so could be correct at the time.

Stats do prove however that we have a lot of people on the forum not signed in - so if nothing else bliss you sleep deprived ramblings are being read πŸ˜‰

actd - spiders appear as bots on the forum count and are listed as part of the registered users.
