My son delivers the local free paper every Thursday - today he accidently broke the letter box on a house he delivers to (It may have already been broken) and he came home quite worried about it. I spoke to him and we agreed to go round later that day to explain. The lady who lived there was brilliant and said that it was a rubbish letter box and always breaking. She thanked him for being honest about it and told him not to worry.

In the light of the shocking news this week with children as young as 11 looting on the high streets - at least I can say with pride that I have brought my son up correctly.

Also in todays society, it's nice to see an adult with some common sense who's not shouting the odds demanding a new letter box because she didn't break it, there's hope afterall!

Also well done to you and your son 🙂

Thanks

But everything back to normal today with him shouting at me and his brother because we dare to talk.

Knew it was an imposter yesterday!!!

It was nice to read this. There are still lots of good children out there, most of them backed by good parents!

I hope so - it is nice to know that when they both go to friends they are polite and well behaved.

Likewise it does make a difference to who comes here for tea!
