[Solved] Trouble With Girls

I am currently going through my second divorce. I'm not sure whether I'm rubbish as a husband or just bad at choosing wives. The first one was easy, my new wife went to bed early on the first night of honeymoon and we never had [censored] again. The judge agreed that this was unreasonable behaviour and I processed my divorce in a month for £140 in court costs.

The current divorce is more complex. We have three children under 7 and two different properties to sell in order to buy one for my family to live in. I need to find a shack for myself but this is something I hadn't anticipated and it's taking me time to sort out. We've only known each other for ten years, married for eight, and it has been a whirlwind from start to finish. We met whilst we were on military operations in Iraq and I had not anticipated that whilst pursuing Saddam's supposed weapons of mass destruction I was going to end up married. I am blogging the process of my divorce, partly because it's cathartic to do so but also because it is forming the basis of a second book:

This book will be the sequel to my first book and there is rich irony in the whole episode since I have always had trouble with girls. I thought I'd grow out of it but clearly not.

I hope my ramblings will amuse people.

I would have thought that the first one would have been an annulment rather than a divorce, on grounds of non-consummation of the marriage 🙁

actd, thanks for the input. I tried annulment but unfortuunately we did consumate on the wedding night. We went on honeymoon next day. Did you ever regret a shag? It wasn't even that good... 🙁

I have very few regrets in my life - even my worst mistake of all (my last ex) resulted in my children, and if she hadn't been such a b*tch, my children would probably still be living with her and I'd have missed them being around growing up. Every cloud.....
