Can the c a s take moneys from my N H S pension, my kids are in there 20s and they say its arrers, I am 57 years old and not working.
I presume that you were on the pre 2003 CSA scheme, where the government paid benefits to the mother and then claimed it back through the CSA. Unfortunately, they can take money from your pension, but are you on any benefits as that might make a difference. Unfortunately, I don't know the rules for CSA 1 but I'd certainly question why it's taken them so long to sort out any arrears, and at the very least allow you to spread payments over a longer term because of the hardship it would cause.
I'd also contact your MP if this is down to any error or omission on the part of the CSA.
