My third son (I have 5) announced yesterday his partner is expecting they have been trying for about 8 months , she had a miscarriage last year very early on and obviously devastated. But such lovely news she's now 12 weeks gone, this will be my 4th Grandchild.
It makes me slightly sad as it brings back memories of the Grandchild we now see and have just gained a weekend a month overnight stays for, but we missed the first two years lots of firsts, no congratulations when pregnant no being nervous waiting for the birth no joyous moment when she was born. Then the war began. Yes things are now calm but we had to take her to court to get this far. Next month will be our first family birthday party for her she will be 4 and oh boy its going to be a very special one indeed and its actually Fathers day so another reason to celebrate big style. So Dads, Mums and Grandparents never give up the fight these little ones cant fight we have to do it for them
Congratulations! Hope all goes well with the pregnancy π
