I created a blog - How Green Is My Grass - ( www.djpnz.com) to talk about issues that really strike deep into my heart and psyche. I talk about IVF, donor eggs, surrogacy, adoption, divorce, fatherhood and my latest one was about having the snip! It's all fun on my blog, but seriously, serious issues, I think, where you are all welcome to drop by, comment or move on through.
Just dipped in and read your blog about the snip (having had it done twice, with a reversal in-between!!) - a good read 🙂
Hi both of you.
I am thinking of having my 'snip' reversed, as my ex partner now would not let me see my two boys and has promised me that
".... You will spend the rest of my life alone...".
Was the reversal successful first time? Was it an expensive process (I had my 'snip' done on the NHS?
Many thanks.... I'm off to read the blog 🙂
Hi
Long time ago, now but it's still clear as day in my head
I had the reversal within two or three years of the snip - the longer it's left, the lower the chances of success as the body produces a defence against the sperm that are being produced (or something like that) - but it was certainly successful and I had two children following the reversal before I was snipped again.
The reversal was done on the NHS - that was over 20 years ago, so don't know if it still qualifies.
