Is the tide turning against individuals who do everything to prevent their children not having access to a Father and Mother. Glasgow Sheriff Court - recently took an interim residence from a mother and given to the father as it was deemed the mother was not enhancing the relationship between the father and child and her behavior was unacceptable to the court.

We all understand that a family court cannot legislate against bad behavior of a individual, whether it is a Father or Mother, and it will be interesting to wait and listen to the final outcome of this case.

It's a good outcome even in the short term - if people see that the courts are willing to do this, then it will give the message to the misbehaving resident parent that if they don't comply with contact orders, then the court will not tolerate such behaviour and the resident parent might suddenly find themself as the non-resident parent - it's the enforcement that has been missing until now.
