So.
I've procreated enough now (5 healthy boys) and my partner and I decided that the snip was the best way forward.
Obviously a bit worried about it, this was made worse by the urologist noting that my [censored] is particularly sensitive, was told to cut all caffeine out (was a coffeeholic to be honest) but am having 2nd thoughts about going through with it.
The other half has said were they more sensitive because you (I) got lucky that morning less than a couple of hours before I got examined.
Help chaps, anyone faced this scenario?

Me and my wife have been talking about this for a while but I am far to nervous to enquire about it...

Most people I know that have had it done have had no problems as long as they rested for a week after the minor operation.

A couple have had some short term issues but one was a result of going back to work the day after having it done!

Hello, my partner and I went through this when our daughter was a year old. It all went smoothly and we had to have counselling before hand, to check if we were serious about it. The operation went well and quickly, and recovery was steady and progressive. Go and talk with your GP and take your partner with you. All the best! Fegans PSV

I've been through it twice!!! Seriously, because I also had a reversal done in between. All went smoothly and it's really nothing to worry about. You won't regret having it done.

Twice?! Ouch, I'm still too nervous to ask the doctor for the details lol.

Out of curiosity did the reversal work? My dad had it done a few years ago and has struggled to conceive since have it done.

Yes it did - I had the reversal about 3 years after the first vasectomy and my wife at the time became pregnant pretty quickly (and another a few years later), I think the longer the time between the vasectomy and the reversal, the lower the chance of success.
