Story in the times about scientists in North Carolina that have discovered zapping rats testicles with ultrasound disables sper
cells and reduces the stem cells that turn into sperm. The effect lasts for 6 months and is totally reversable
with no damage to the quality of the sperm. So sort of like a male version of the pill!
"there is certiamly a place for an effective non-hormonal contraceptive for men", said
Dr Allan Pacey from sheffield university, "but whether men would find it acceptable to have their testicles scanned regularly remains to be seen."
Question is - would you?
Ouch !! π―
Buzz - how can you type this without it bringing tears to your eyes!
Er, actually, if this was guaranteed 100% effective, I think I'd have done it when I was younger. I had two vasectomies with a reversal in between - I nearly didn't need the anaesthetic on the first one as I almost passed out anyway - not with the pain as I couldn't feel anything from the local, but from the sound and knowledge of what they were doing. A quick zap sounds so much better. π
i wouldnt be doing this not a chance
gee, thanks Shades - I'd forgotten all about this until you posted and brought the thread back to the top again π
you are welcome my friend π π
have to say it would depend.
if it hurt then [censored] no, if not then why not.
no garentee with this sort of thing, refuse to believe is 100% garentee
Of course, men may be doing it to themselves unwittingly by carrying a mobile phone in their pockets π
