Hi,
Dose anyone what happens with section 7 report that's been requested because my mental health,
I suffered from anxiety and depression last year very servley and this report is to see if I'm fit to have my child over night for the past 6 months my mental health has been classed as stable I'm not 100% better but I am almost there,
I also was on a low dose or diazepam 11months for 2 months I abused them illicitly but come straight off them by my own will and have never gone back to them,
Can anyone comment ?
Hi there
If your condition is being well managed and has been stable for the last six months, this should go in your favour. Are you able to get a letter confirming this from your GP or CPN if you have one, that would also help.
When you're interviewed for the section 7, it's important that you're open with them about what happened but also that you have turned things around and are managing your anxiety successfully without medication. Keep your responses child focussed and reassuring, your child is your priority and you wouldn't seek overnight stays if you didn't feel you were able to cope well.
All the best
