Christopher, this seems to be a random collection of suggestions. Where did you get this information from?
As DadTalk we can't endorse this. If you are diabetic you should always consult your doctor regarding treatment.
I check my BG (Blood Glucose) at least once a day at a random time at least two hours after eating. I walk at least 30 minutes a day 5 times a week.
All food intake affects your blood sugar. You have to make the right choices. I put the advice of my doctor into a simple phrase that he now shares with his diabetic patients:
Avoid the Whites (sugar, white flour, white rice, potatoes, etc...carbs)
Avoid the Meats with Fur (pork, beef...)
Eat the Meats with Feathers and Fins (chicken, fish, seafood...)
Eat appropriate portions.
