I have just been trying out the new Dad Info mobile Web site (and liked it).
I had a read into a few of the articles on Dads health & this one struck me.
it was about reducing your alcohol intake...
hint 4 suggested alternating between one alcoholic drink and one non-alcoholic.
for example, on Wed night i went to a slightly pretentious bar with a mate to hear a band.
Bottled beer only & was expensive! i had a couple of bottles.
anyway, i had a cold starting.
All night i had dry lips and was dehydrated from the drink & cold.
i was really drinking because i fancied a bitter, but there was none. habit took over &i drank.
in hind sight i would have been better off with one beer & a couple of cokes.
Glad you like the new mobile version of the site and that you are finding the articles helpful.
mobile site? Have I missed something. Or been told and forgotten about it? :boohoo:
Well, in terms of drinking beer, for me it's always been about quality not quantity, and enjoying a decent pint rather than getting drunk.
So I normally have one pint anyhow, it's pretty common to find me drinking halves π
Shocking I know. I like to taste the beer though, I'm not a real ale nerd, I just like real ale and decent beer π Whiskies are great too, and I found that you can drink a couple of whiskies and not feel any major ill effects the next morning which always helps! π
