just a quick question. the witness statement,,,,if listing details of abuse against the child. is it best to put the most recent first and work backwards?

and likewise when listing the breaches of court order..most recent first?

Yes, best to put the most recent first and work backwards.  Keep the text factual and avoid your opinions of the effect they had on the child unless the child has made specific comments.  Keep the incidents brief and to the point for maximum impact.  There is a guide on representing yourself in the Family Court on the Advicenow website which may be helpful.
