[Solved] Which will the court favour?

Hi,

I currently see my children 6pm Fri to 6pm Sat. Mediation has broken down so I am in the process of applying to the court. I am asking for alternate weekends with optional day in between the two weeks. My ex wants me to have children 6pm Fri to 6pm Sat 3 x a month and 1 full weekend. She also wont allow me to see them on their birthdays or xmas.

I live 45mins away and my children hate the drive, I feel alternate weekends reduces travel by half and gives me good quality time with the children.

Which do you feel the court would favour?

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

It's difficult to say which was it will go, as it will be down to the judge on the day, they may feel that the extra time with you from having them every weekend is a good thing, or they could decide that they would prefer that they spend alternate weekends with you.
