[Solved] Which form for Parental Responsibility?

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum. I have made an application to court (C100) because my child's mother stopped all contact. I have a hearing coming up very soon and I want to apply for parental responsibility as I'm not on my child's birth certificate. Which form do I need to submit in order to apply for parental responsibility?

Thanks

The form is at the bottom of this page. £215 court fees then your underway. Hope this helps.

Good luck.

If you have already made an application for a Child Arrangements Order and you wanted to add a further application to the existing case, you would use form C2 to do this. However, you may get away with asking for the court to grant PR within the existing case, it's worth asking the judge, he may be happy to grant this along with any other order he decides to make, if not, he would advise you to submit a C2 form anyway... so it's worth a try.

All the best

Hi

Agree with Mojo's advice. Try asking the court to consider a verbal application for Parental Responsibility. If they say no, the C2 is cheaper than making a brand new application. The C2 allows you to add issues to existing proceedings.
