...My sons Directions Apppointment is on 13th March....it would be really helpful to hear of others experiences of this first hearing.

Wether yours was judge led?

Are reports from SS, police etc requested?

Is a position statement needed?

Is interim contact decided and by who?

....and anything at all that you can share with us.

Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi Jane, All that happened in ours was the cafcass officer went between them both trying to sort out a way forward but it was always a no every thing we suggested even tho the officer thought it was a good comprimise. when in the court room all of 10 minutes it was just adjourned for medaition reports to be dealt with by end of Jan which you know didnt happen, so our second court hearing is now April. Im only guessing but I should think what will happen is it be adjourned for reports from ss, police etc due to the circumstances, you will already have put a statement in explaining why you are there and your concerns. A full statement will be required at a later date . They may offer interim contact at a contact centre but they may not due to the concerns ...
