Hello all,
So I've just received my section 7 today, and while some of it was positive she doesn't think I have any anger issues and do not pose a safeguarding risk, was critical of ex for constantly being critical of me, for contracting herself and not understand people have different parenting styles.
My ex wanted contact to remain in a centre until little one is 16 months old!!! (he is 6 months now) and very slow progression 8.5 hours total per week at 28 months and to max of 24 hours every two weeks at 3! This is even after she had agreed to contact centre ending in April in a failed attempt at consent order.
The report stated contact centre to end in June, and after that to progress to mine, but no times were specified, is this normal?
I'm worried without set times the conflict will continue. I'm sure she is much more upset than me about the report.
J
You need to make that concern over conflict continuing a part of your submission to the court.
Why not work out a schedule that leads to overnights?
Step things up each month until you reach say 7 hours and at that point move to overnights.
With a positive cafcass report, you need to be pushing those positives.
