[Solved] Submitted C4/C100, received c6/c7/c9?!?

Hi everyone,

I don't know the current whereabouts of my child/her mother, so I submitted a C4 along with my C100 form. What I received back from the court was a Directions appointment, along with 2 copies of my C4/C100s, one C7 form, 2 C6s and a C9 form.

But the whole point of sending the C4 is that I don't know her whereabouts, so how am I to serve the C6? I thought completing the C4 meant the courts would locate/serve her?

I'm really confused about what to do now?! Are the courts trying to locate her? What should I do with my c6/c7/c9?

Thanks

Hi there

The court office do get things wrong, of course you cant serve papers on her as her whereabouts are unknown!

Give the court a call or go in and explain what has happened and they will advise you. It might be better if you take the forms in and speak to someone directly.
