Spurgeons and Dad.Info doesn’t investigate reports of abuse or neglect. But below, you can find advice on who to contact if you have concerns about a child or young person.

Reporting a concern

It can be difficult to know what to do if you think a child is at risk. It’s important to remember that if you’ve spotted things that don’t seem right, others will have too. Speaking up can make sure that child gets help as soon as possible.

The sooner you contact your local children’s social care duty team, the quicker they can act. They’re available 24 hours a day, and can make an anonymous report if that feels safer. If a child is in immediate danger, please call the police straight away by dialling 999.

What does this mean?

I have been given contact for 10 weeks in the community weekly then CAFCASS have recommended;

Overnight as per:

I recommend a fortnightly stepped arrangement from 1) Friday to Saturday, 2) Friday to Sunday, and then 3)Friday to Monday.

Does this mean move to contact every fortnight or weekly contact but step the arrangements for 2weeks per step until Friday to Monday?

Thanks

hi,

stepped arrangements mean a gradual progression of contact, e.g a few weeks contact in community, then to 1 overnight stay for few weeks, then 2, then 3 overnights etc

@daddyx2tt you have to sort out these arrangements at your final hearing, they would set  it out in your order as a contact schedule.
