Hi all,
I need to offload..... again.
Last week I received correspondence from my solicitor that confirmed my wife has now agreed to sign the transfer of deeds form and sign the house over to me and therefore she would receive her lump sum payment from the equity.
This was an amazing break through after several weeks of battling.
Today I have been dealt a devastating blow.
Her solicitor has written to mine to advise she has now changed her mind upon their advice. She is now seeking an agreement to pension sharing as part of a settlement agreement otherwise she will not sign the document.
She has dropped divorce proceedings and now wants full committment of pension etc.
I stand to lose everything, I am currently riddled with debt and completely fed up.
Cheers
...that's awful! She really is playing with your emotions here.
I don't suppose theres anything to be gained from trying to appeal to her to change her mind back? I feel for you DD...x
... or possibly appealing to her common sense that if you fight this, any gains she makes (if any) will probably go on her own legal expenses. If she doesn't agree, I would be inclined to call her bluff, at least initially - though keep an eye on your own legal costs.
