Hi There,

That's awful, can't believe youve been what seems to be fobbed off, get the complaint in ASAP, I'm sure as much as it's a pain about the money, but it's the waisted time when all you want to do is get this sorted.

I hope ypu get somewhere quickly.

Thank you, have written a letter to the court and found out their policy is to deal with complaints in 5 working days. Pointed out that whilst errors happen this needs addressing and requires a swift resolution to minimise distress for all involved parties. particularly the child. Probably don't stand a chance at getting any financial recompense, but will give it a go......

Well at least they have the policy of 5 days, means you shouldn't be hanging around too long to hear from them.

Just make sure you also whether \cafcass were geunine about filing it. They would and should have sent you a copy if its true. Get as many names down. There is nothing stopping you getting a copy if its ready and ideally you should have had an opprtunity to read it before you went to court anyway.

Ask for an earlier date as a minimum compensation!

Thanks guys, will see what happens. Not holding my breath as expecting each organisation to blame the other, but won't give up. Spoke to our local MP yesterday, she is happy to give us a referral to the Parliamentary Ombudsman to raise a complaint if we're not happy with the outcome.

Thanks NJ, she was great, probably not a bad time to ask for help with the elections fast approaching! Beginning to feel like a bedroom activist 🙂

Not necessarily words I'd use in the same sentence. Not in public anyway 😀 😀
