Hi all,
does anyone know how to go about finding siblings who were taken into care?
I'm trying to help a lady find her family. They were a family with 9 kids in the 1960's and they all got separated. and placed into care. She cannot find any of them, although does know 2 have passed away.
Does anyone know what route to try please
thankyou
Hi
Have you tried contacting the Salvation Army? They help people find lost family members. You can also try googling - there are a wealth of free websites to track people down with these days.
Good luck
I have googled the names and searching on facebook. Pm people who must think I'm a complete weirdo... but can't imagine how it must feel to be separated as kids about 5 years old at the time. I have years of the births. Thank you I will try Salvation Army.
I also think as so long ago, names may have changed through adoption process.
It's a long shot, but you could try joining an ancestry website.
