My ex partner (never married) who lives elsewhere with our two children, having previously agreed to sell the family home (and split equity 50/50) is now refusing to sell eventhough we have a buyer????????
house is in joint name and mortgage in joint name, she has not lived here for over 6mths
is there a legal answer to force her to sell

I believe there is, but I'm not 100% on this (been a long, long time since I studied property law), so you're going to need proper legal advice on this. Our legal experts only give advice on Child law - you're best option may be to contact the Citizens Advice Bureau
