Worried about CAFCASS missing the deadline for my S7 report.
Due back in court in the first week of April, with the S7 being due in 2 weeks. However, i was only allocated a case worker last week who is yet to contact me and arrange interviews etc. I have not seen my little girl since December 2021, pretty serious allegations were made which have been disproven in a fact finding. My daughter will also have been the victim of emotional abuse in the form of being told things about me which are now proven to be false, so i was hopeful that this report would be done in time, and illustrate the emotional harm that has been placed on her thus paving the way for contact with myself moving to equal residency.
However CAFCASS are dragging their heels, and despite me calling them every week for the past 4 weeks out of concern i am always paid lip service about it being done in time. To summarise my concerns are
1. It won't be done in time, and once again i will be waiting even longer to see my daughter
2. They will rush the report and it won't adequately illustrate the harm my daughter has been placed under.
hi, do you have direct contact details for cafcass person handling your case. they must be very busy. suggest to keep chasing them for update.
