me and the GF dated she fell preg in oct 2011 our beatuifull little girl was born july we been together since 2011 we moved in to our house in 2012 before wee one was born, lived here happily ish (normal prob with mothers n PND) i started work as a chef a year ago really [censored] hours but the money was good and helped pay off debt get a car and go on days out n re do the house, feb 2014 had a hudge bust up when she came in pissed on a night out at half 5 clubs kick out at 3 so i asked n she been out with her mates in the car dropping people off (he wasnt drinking taxi driver friend) she left while i was working next day i said some nasty stuff i didnt mean, she stayed wwith her mum (lives around 5 min walk away) for a week then came back so we could work though, this since then been good so i thought tunes out after her birthday night out came back really pissed again sick everywere cleaned it up didnt sleep all night due to her being that drunk couldnt walk 3 days later she told me she was unhappy being with me n that she loved me but wasnt in love with me n left for the night she stayed here for a week allways on her phone n never speding much time with the wee one now 2 so a hand full, she left on thursday to her mums n left wee one with me.
so if you read the above you ken were we are up to lol , went n saw a lawer on friday (best mates one, best in the area) told her the case she had made her self homeless n that i didnt want her to remove the wee one from her home were she is happy, n lawers put in for a residence order for the wee one to stay at home with me (im on 2 weeks holiday atm witch we planned on going away) she dont know anything apart from iv been for advice, iv been tasking the wee one on days out to the beach, family play parks, nice long nature walks, have invited her along too as didnt want her to miss out seeing the wee one happy n now im just waiting for the writt to be handed to her n see how things go.
has anyone else been here or know how these things work i love my little girl and im sorry to say i am 110% fouced on my daughter and thats how it is im not on facebook on or the mobile 24/7 and i think i can give her more than her mum can her home,days out, 100% atttention all the time no matter what,
the ex-gf still like me as a person n we talk but she wont give me our girl she need her to get a 2 bedroom house faster n the extra money as the dole dnt pay much

Where is your daughter currently living, I'm not clear on that from what you've said?
I think, at the moment, you are probably getting advice from your solicitor, so he is probably best placed to advice on the legalities, but there are plenty on here who can give advice from experience.
