As far as I know either person can ask the police for a letter/statement to detail their involvement. If you're unhappy you should give them a call and discuss your concerns about the one sidedness of it with them, perhaps ask them to extend the same service to you with a letter/statement to say what the outcome was if you feel that should be included.

You can apply for disclosure of police records about you, these i believe you need to pay a small fee for (£10-£20) and can take 4-6weeks if memory serves me. or you can ask the judge to order police disclosure but this will add another hearing and further delays to your case.

or if you know the officer(s) who were involved, try contacting them directly and ask if they would be able to send you a copy of their incident report for the event(s) they attended for you - they may not....they may tell you they cannot send that to you, in which case you would need to apply for them. i was lucky that i got copies sent me by the officer who attended for me...strictly speaking she shouldn't have but it was a massive help for me as it proved my ex had lied.

if you disagree and can prove the police report/statement is wrong then you can raise a complaint against the police, but you have to be able to prove it! but again in court you can prove it too by submitting your evidence.
