[Solved] Re: CSA

..from what I can gather the CSA do make a reduction when the parent has the children for more than 52 nights per year...You can search for CSA calculator on Google and it will heelp work out how much you would pay, but have a wage slip handy.

The reason I asked about the Contact Order is because sometimes the mother will reduce contact times so that she will receive the maximum amount...obviously if you have a defined Court Order in place then this would be difficult for her, and if she attempted to do it whilst under a Contact Order, you would have redress to return to court for enforcement...the courts take a very dim view of a parent that uses their children for financial gain.

Of course I may be doing your ex an injustice and if thats the case, then I apologise!

Has your ex declared the maintenance you have been paying her, to the benefits office? As she is in receipt of child tax and housing benefits, I would think the amount you are paying would have a bearing on her entitlement.

Hi there

You can go onto the CSA website and use their calculator which will give you an idea of what they would expect you to pay

Worth a try
