Hi
So the fact finding found her claims of DV to be false. She got a non mol on the basis of DV and also legal aid. Can he write to someone to stop her legal aid? It sounds petty maybe but she's using public funds she's not entitled to.
Thanks
Hi,
I cant give an answer here so i wont be able to help an awful lot but dont think you are being petty, she was happy to make things difficult for you so return the favour. Try CAB they may know or get free legal advice for 15 minutes, some solicitors offer that and see what they say, or maybe even tell this to the court concerned and they will inform the CAFCASS officer.

Hi there
I think it would depend on the proof she supplied to them to receive the funding in the first place. I would write to the legal aid board and just voice your concerns about her continuing to receive the funding in the future. Definitely worth a try.
Thank you everyone xx He’s going to give it a go. She can’t be allowed to get away with everything and using public funds she’s not entitled to when there are people who really do is just deplorable.
Hi I've read a bit about this and she shouldn't be entitled to legal aid anymore!!
Now if I was you I wouldn't say anything to her about this because now if she still is using legal aid it's now a criminal offence. Fraud, or you could stop it all together.
Legal aid counter fraud team, on the government website.
But I'm guessing it will be a lengthy process.
So that's the two options you have,
Good luck x
Just too add, I spoke to my solicitor yesterday and he said that my ex can still get legal aid on the basis of the charges against me regardless of me being acquitted. Means testing for legal aid is required also.
I hope this helps x
