Hi Guys,

The ex is now representing herself, which i guess is potentially good for me. However due to the fact i was representing myself the Judge ordered that the ex's solicitor should compile the court bundle now.

This i have now been advised is now back down to me to do since the ex has dumped her legal team and is representing herself. the only copy i have is the one i scribbled all manner of notes on at court.
I should be able to get a 'Clean' copy i assume from either court or her solicitor. however i'm informe i have to submit 3 copies....the ex says!
she says 1 to court, 1 to cafcass, and 1 to her....(4 if you include my copy)

is this right? or do i submit all 3 to court?

i'm not really worried about adding in my final statement or her final statement or re doing the index page and re doing the page numbering for the added sections. thats just time and paper.....i just want to make sure i'm not sending the wrong number of copies out or to the wrong people.

this is the final hearing (the judge ordered it as final and contested due to the attitude of the ex at the previous hearing.
So for me i don't want to muck it up when i'm so close to an order by the court.

Hi dad-i-dad,

The Court Bundle (File 4) is essentially a full copy of:

- Contact Application + any extra pages as may have been included
- Court Hearing Letters (i.e. Dates you have been required to attend court)
- CAFCASS Report in full
- Interim Judgements (made after each appointed visit to the Court)
- Position Statements (Of both yourself and your ex wife)
- Any other additional details regarding orders made by the Courts i.e. Mediation outcomes or PIPS confirmation letters etc
- Index Page regarding the above

You will need 3/4 copies:
- Yourself
- Your Ex
- Court
- CAFCASS if they are still actively involved due to safeguarding or welfare issues

You are responsible for submitting the File 4 to your ex and the Courts/CAFCASS.

You can send a copy of your Contact Application and it doesn't need to be clean. Likewise in some instances, the opposing Solicitors get sent information from the Courts which they will need to follow that a) might be relevant to the case or b) an instruction from the Courts. You can request these from your ex's Solicitor but they may be reluctant to release these. If they are you could ideally obtain a letter from them to state that they are not releasing these documents to you or you could just mention this at the actual hearing to save time/effort that will most likely prove fruitless.
