Hello. I recently went to court to gain access to see my daughter. The judge ordered the father to bring her to a contact centre promptly and for me to see her there. But his solicitor drafted up an order for the judge to approve , she emailed the judge the draft order so the judge can approve it, but how long does it take until the judge approves the order ?
Hi there
It can take weeks to receive the paperwork, you can try contacting his solicitor to ask about a date for starting the contact sessions...you could also call the court to find out how long before you receive the order.
In the meantime you could contactthe contact centre and get things moving at that end. Here's a link to the national contact centres website
www.naccc.org.uk
best of luck
My last order took over 3 weeks to arrive, however, we were following it all along, ie, I didn't have to wait 3 weeks before I started seeing my son again. In practical terms, with a contact centre involved, it will always take that long anyway to get the referrals done, so like Mojo said, your best option is to get started with the referrals as soon as possible.
