Hi,
Quick query. I have a court order for alternate weekends and first half of school holidays.
My ex now wants full details of a registered child-minder I used at half-term (name, address, contact numbers, registration number, copies of references, how many children she looks after... the list goes on and on and my Ex says "as per the court order of xxx data. I have requested from you information and assurance with regards to a child-minder"
The court order says “issues concerning the child’s health, medical treatment, schooling and general welfare and that such needs to be communicated promptly and politely and in writing”.
I know I could just gather all the information together and send it to her, but I don't think this is covered by the agreement, and I have never received any information from my ex regarding who she uses to look after our son during holidays.
Any advice on what to do?
Hi There,
.
There are 2 ways to look at this, either think, no I'm not giving her the details as it's not covered in the order and she doesn't give me that info so why should I.
.
Or just suck it up and supply her with at the info or at least some of the info she is asking for.
.
At the end of the day you have to pick your battles, and when something is quite simple to resolve then the easiest thing is to just do it.
.
