Where do I stand legally if I want to peacefully protest in the streets? Can I be arrested? Can the courts use this against me?

I would speak to your local police as they are the ones who would be involved in the first instance, but as long as you aren't causing an obstruction or a breach of the peace, to the best of my knowledge, there shouldn't be an issue.

However, I would ask what you expect to achieve, and would it go against you if you were met with people who don't agree with your views (a lot of ex wives, for instance).

Talking to the police sounds good. I'm prepared to take the risk - if people don't agree with what I'm doing, that's their right.

As well ask asking the police i'd suggest maybe contacting Fathers4Justice or Fathers4Justice UK Support & Advice Group on FB and ask how they protest and what is likely to happen if you were to do any type of protesting
