I got my Cafcass addendum report last week. They have recommended I have only indirect contact with my 13 year old daughter who has been alienated from me. I made a strong case for parental alienation but Cafcass wasnt on board.
My pre trial hearing is on monday and cafcass has recommended it not go to trial as my daughter has said she only wants indirect contact. I do not believe cafcass address parental alienation at all and want to discuss it at the pre trial hearing.
Can the judge order that the case not go to a final hearing, and make decisions on the day of the pre trial hearing? I have already submitted my statement in response to the Cafcass silly report.
hi,
hope your well. If you disagree with Cafcass proposals in the letter, You can tell the court that you disagree. possibly you could ask can they do a section 7 report, to find out the wishes and feelings of the child, and to investigate why child is resisting to spend time with father. do you have a lawyer representing you?
@bill337 Section 7 report was done. I made parental alienation allegations and the judge had cafcaass look at it. Cafcass was very harsh to me and dismissed the allegations and said the 3 day trial should not happen. Pre-trial is Monday
what is the purpose of the 3 day trial, is it fact finding?
@bill337 final directions and to review everything - final directions i guess.
