hi i got my court order through today and on the court order it states that they order me have pr rights over my child, i rang court up and said i need an actuall order stating they are not putting it into a seperate order as its on the court order but i have been told today by my local register office that im trying to get my name added to the birth cert that it has to be an actual pr order and that it being on a court order wont be accepted
is there any way i can challenge this by the courts and get a seperate order as i did have c1 form as well as c100 form so think its lazy from the courts just to add it on my court order that i be granted pr rights
in the order it only says it it orderd that the father have parental responsibility in regard to (childs name)
The registry office should accept this, it's a court order. Where a CAO and PR have been applied for at the same time, it's usually all one order, there's nothing unusual in that at all. If an order says you have PR, then you have PR.
