Hi all
Just had a pretty positive s7 report from cafcass, however the ex is unmoving despite the magistrate telling her thats she needs to offer up a deal at the last hearing.
She's also inferring Im an alcoholic and wants me to take an alcohol test. I feel that this is completely unreasonable - any advice? Anyone been through it?
I wouldn't want this resulting in a final hearing. Ive submitted lots of supporting evidence and cant see what else i can offer up.
The cafcass officer has said in his report that my daughter should be staying with me after two months.
Im very much hoping that the courts decision is weighted by the Cafcass report?
All advice help and experiences welcome as always.
Thanks

HI There,
.
If you are worried that she will try and use your drinking against you at the next hearing, why don't you ask your doctor for a liver function test, from what I have heard on here (Mojo refers to them) it would give you proof that you don't have a drink problem and shoot her claims down instantly.
.
It may just be worth covering all bases and by getting this done without being asked you are showing you have nothing to hide and aren't afraid to show this.

Hi
I agree, you could take a test to disprove her claims and make sure you have the evidence with you at court.
Mostly, courts go with S7 recommendations. Usually what happens after an S7, is there's a 1 hour DRA and court will hope that neither of you will contest the recommendations.
If one party wants to contest the recommendations then the court has a duty to list the matter for a fully contested final hearing & then the court will make the final decisions.
