Good evening. I have a first hearing tomorrow and am growing increasingly anxious. Are there any moderators or anyone with some experience who would be able to look at my position statement? Any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated x
Hi there
I didn’t see this until late last night, not enough time to help with a proof read...sorry about that. If you can give a couple of days notice next time, then I’m sure that one of the Moderators, myself included, would be able to help.
Hope all goes ok at the hearing today...as it’s a first hearing, the court will try and get some agreement between you, but don’t agree to anything that you’re unhappy with. If the other side has a solicitor, they may also want to talk to you before going into court, this is normal practice, listen to what they have to say, it again don’t be bullied into agreeing anything you’re not happy with.
Best of luck
How did your hearing go?
I have been waiting for almost 4 months for my first hearing, but now got a date for 20th July... (6 months after applying...)
Can't afford a solicitor and was wondering if a moderator could take a look at my position statement?
If so, how do I send to you?
thanks!
