[Solved] Poor grammar from my ex's solicitor

I am in the process of contact litigation going back and forth between myself and my ex's solicitor. This is the fourth grammatical error from my ex's solicitors but is it really worth me criticising them in order to highlight the lack of professionalism with the issue in question. I was going to write the following:

Your correspondence to date has been grossly inaccurate and has contained grammatical errors which I find disconcerting considering the importance of the matter in question.

Can you explain what is meant by the following sentence as it does not make any sense to me?

“It is not be appropriate for xxxxx to be cared for by others on your behalf during contact visits. Contact visits are for xxxxx to spend time with you.”

I wouldn't bother. IMO it would come across as being quite petty although I have to agree that letters from solicitors should at the very least be grammatically correct, even if the content is tosh 🙂

Would just like to point out, I don't get mistaken for a fella in real life.

Ha ha Slim! Clearly need to choose a more feminine username once I don't have to be so anonymous 🙂

Barty - I am gonna throw into the mix against the grain that you ought to highlight the other parties solicitors lack of professionalism. Explain that these are documents that may be used in a court of law and clearly if they do not make sense it will not help progress matters. Explain you want these check through a senior solicitor if they intend to continue to issue such poor quality correspondence.
