Hi all
I tried creating a petition that was to create / change the law so that upon separation ,parents ( both mum and dad) had some basic right of some sort of minimum contact with their kids without a court order in place . Now I know there will be crinkles to this and of course the child’s safety is paramount , but there are a [censored] of a lot of good parents being denied contact with their kids by exes just being awkward . I did an online petition before but it didn’t get enough signatures ,perhaps someone on here can help support this movement ? Just a thought
sounds like a good idea, but i have a feeling the gov will shove it under the carpet. someone else started a popular petition, asking for parental alienation to become a criminal offence. gov disagreed, and said cafcass are good enough for dealing with PA
Expect you’re right . Collectively all the parents going through what the members of this forum/ country wide are going through must have a loud enough voice to spark change
