Did you mean to cut your question out Stanton? If you want to ask privately, just drop one of us a PM.
Was trouble with the website.
Wife has put al my personal property in to storage leaving me with a bill for £200 a month.
I have been advised to write to her solicitor and ask for costs to be deducted from the financial settlement.
I was going to collect my tools but feel that this has been done to remove anything that would remind the children of dad.
Did she give you the opportunity to arrange for them to be collected first?
It would be difficult to prove that she was removing your possessions to wipe you out of the children’s life.
Could you not just collect your possessions and state that she has arranged the storage so it's her responsibility to pay for it? She hasn't had your permission to do so and I assume you haven't signed anything.
Was given two mornings which I could not do due to work.
The unit is 50 foot square and full.
I have not got a place to live in yet.
The unit cost is half of the mortgage
Hi There,
You are in a catch 22 as if you don't pay your things won't be kept, so even though she has set this up and you haven't signed anything she has nothing to lose by not covering the bill.
Would you have family that could store the things for you?
You could also look at putting a post on a local Facebook group asking for cheaper storage, you may find someone with a garage that isn't being used that could be cheaper.
GTTS
I would certainly get them out of there as soon as possible - even if you are able to get this bill considered against the final settlement, that would only work if you showed you acted to keep this bill to a minimum.
