I understand that it takes consent from only one with parental responsabilty to allow any medical procedure to go ahead.

Why would you not consent to a medical procedure? Is it on medical or religious grounds?

If your child requires medical attention wouldnt you want it to go ahead?

Regards,

Dave

Is there any way you can discuss this with her doctor? Do you have Parental Responsibility? If you are on your daughters birth certificate and she was born after December 1st 2003 you will automatically have PR and can insist the GP discusses your daughters health with you. If you can do that you can voice your concerns and ask for it to be put on record that when she stays with you, which is very regular, she displays none of the symptoms.
